By Dolly Kildee, Aide to Councilmember Navarro
She updated the residents on some of the issues that are important to them, including the dangerous crosswalk in front of their residence, and the bus shelter that was severely damaged two years ago. Neil Pederson, Administrator of the State Highway Administration, conducted a study of the crosswalk situation. The study will be available within 2 weeks, and Councilmember Navarro will share it with the residents and support any recommendations forthcoming.
Councilmember Navarro also reported that the Montgomery County's Division of Transit Services advised her that this department will erect the bus shelter as soon as it is delivered. The councilmember also gave the residents a brief report on some of the other issues being addressed by the Council.
